LEARN TO SMILE AGAIN, WITH INVISALIGN!

Are you happy with your smile?

Invisalign is an amazing technology that allows you to enjoy a beautifully healthy smile!  This may be the first time you consider improving your smile; or, it may be time to rejuvenate that which you have treated with traditional orthodontics in the past.  By traditional orthodontics I mean the old wires and brackets used when you were children to straighten and align your crowded and dentition. Today, your options are several.  All determined by the nature of your situation, a crooked smile may be treated by one the following:

  • Traditional orthodontics utilizing metal wires and brackets
  • Traditional orthodontics utilizing ceramic wires and brackets
  • Custom made wires and brackets specifically fabricated to fit on the inside surfaces of your teeth
  • Invisalign clear aligners

These methods are all available for consideration.  They each have their benefits and disadvantages and may vary considerably in cost.  The perfect method for you should be determined together with your dentist or orthodontist.  We, at my office, offer Invisalign orthodontics and will, together with an orthodontist from our Smile Panel of Experts, plan your case using more traditional options.

Invisalign orthodontics has helped many of my patients and continues to improve chronic or newly misaligned teeth everyday. How do we do this, you ask? Continue reading to learn how.

I have helped improve my patients' smiles using Invisalign starting with photos and impressions taken of their teeth. From these, Align Technology, the company responsible for making the Invisalign aligners, uses a CT scan to produce a highly accurate 3-D digital model of my patients' smile as it is today.  Together with Align, I manipulate this digital model to create a virtual treatment plan, detailing how their teeth will be moved by the Invisalign aligners.

After making sure this plan matches what each patient may want, a series of aligners specific to each individual treatment are custom made using stereo-lithography ( SLA ) technology.  Each aligner is designed to move the teeth gradually, each one bringing my patients closer to a beautiful smile.
